BSC FAMILIES - WAIT - PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THIS AND CONSIDER MAKING A TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION TO HELP NEEDY FAMILIES IN BSC.

Burlingame Soccer Club (BSC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 and the fees that you pay for your child to play are dedicated to those activities that directly impact your child's experience, such as: professional coaching and technical development, playing fields, lights, equipment, referees, as well as necessary operational costs such as insurance and accounting. BSC essentially "breaks-even" each year, as a non-profit should.

BSC has a portion of our families that cannot afford to pay full fees for their children to play, and offers assistance through the BSC Financial Aid Fund. Funds are allocated to needy families via the financial aid application process (managed by parent volunteer Financial Aid Committee). BSC raises money for the Financial Aid Fund in three main ways:

1. Hosting tournaments and other fundraisers - BSC co-hosts Soccer By The Bay and sole-hosts the annual 5v5 tournament -- both of these tournaments raise material amounts that go 100% to the Financial Aid Fund. BSC also holds the annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser and 100% of net proceeds go to the Financial Aid Fund.

2. Applying for grants - BSC applies for grants from charitable organizations that are dedicated to supporting youth sports. 100% of any grant funds received go directly into the Financial Aid Fund.

3. Generous donations from small businesses and individuals in our community such as you - The BSC community is very fortunate to have generous families and small businesses that make tax deductible donations -- 100% of which go to the Financial Aid Fund.

Can you help? Are you someone who has experience in fundraising? Can you help BSC write grant applications, chair fundraisers, or organize our tournaments? If so, we would love your help. Please send an email directly to bsc.koury@gmail.com and check the box below if you would like to help.

Otherwise, for everyone else, please consider making a tax deductible donation. Fully 100% of your donation will go to the Financial Aid Fund. The target requested donation per family is $100 -- as that amount will help an enormous number of children who want to play but whose families just cannot afford it. But, any amount that your family can manage is greatly appreciated.

Please consider making a tax deductible donation of $50, $100, $250 or any amount you choose. As reminder, 100% of your donation goes directly to the Financial Aid Fund, helping our families with financial need. You will receive a donation receipt (via regular mail) for your records. And, you will know that you've done what you can to directly help support families in the Club.

Thank you for your consideration.
