  • When does Burlingame SC anticipate our on-field training to resume?

While we hope that we will be allowed to get back on the field this Summer, we must follow government health guidelines. We are closely monitoring the situation and will update the members as soon as we have more information.

  • What will happen with the soccer season when restrictions are lifted?

We anticipate an ongoing transition period from the moment Shelter in Place order is gradually lifted to us being able to return to our normal activities without any restrictions. NorCal has decided to cancel the Spring season and all competitions. Regardless of the league being canceled, Burlingame SC is preparing the transition plan and summer training if/when we are allowed to get back on the field. While needing to adhere to all the changing health and safety guidelines, we are considering team sessions, internal scrimmages, games with the neighboring clubs, mini tournaments, futsal playdates and special clinics as part of our summer training.

  • What will happen to Burlingame SC Training @ Home after we return to the field?

We're very proud of the quality of our online program. We are so grateful to our players, families and coaches for being flexible and able to adapt and for staying connected through our online training. We have learned a lot this season as a club and are witnessing the benefits of online training. Online training will serve as an ongoing supplemental training tool to enhance the learning of BSC players in the future. In addition, we will use it as a platform for guest coaches and speakers for coaches' and parents' education and meetings.

We anticipate an ongoing transition period from the moment Shelter in Place order is gradually lifted to us being able to return to our normal activities without any restrictions. During that transition time we will likely use live Zoom training combined with outdoor training.
